time to move on
Despite the shitty election results, I still have to go to work, I still have to go to school, and I still have to grade exercises from students. I would have had to do all those things had Kerry won, but I spent most of yesterday unable to concentrate on anything good, and hung out on the couch with my cats from about 6pm onward.
So, I have a
ton of work mail to deal with (where 1 mail = 1 task), a few exercises to grade, and.....a freaking English essay due tonight that I haven't even thought about. It's not like it's a long essay (1500 words? Something like that.), but it's a close reading from either
Bleak House,
Middlemarch or
Tess of the d'Urbervilles and I haven't even picked a passage. Crap. The good news, I suppose, is that I read all three books (yes I did!) and there are plenty of pages to choose from.
Ok, I'm out of good news.
